Countertops and bath stone, cut for the trade.

Kitchen and bath is where most of our fabrication hours go — quartz, granite, marble, and quartzite cut, edged, and installed to the tolerances a remodel demands. One shop, one point of contact, from template to install.

No. 04 — Kitchen & Bath Kitchen and bath natural stone slab materials
Two Rooms, One Shop

Built for kitchens. Built for baths. Built by the same crew.

Countertops and bath stone get templated, cut, and installed by the same fabricators — so the seams, edges, and finish match across the whole project.

Most of the work that comes through this side of the shop starts with a template appointment at the job site — measuring cabinets, sink cutouts, and appliance clearances to a tolerance that a seamed countertop or a bookmatched vanity actually needs. From there it's the same crew, the same CNC and waterjet equipment, and the same finish standard whether the job is a single kitchen island or a full remodel running kitchen, powder bath, and primary bath together.

Houston-area remodelers and showrooms send us everything from a single replacement countertop to a full-house material package, and it runs both ways: some jobs are a straightforward slab swap on an existing footprint, others involve a full cabinet reconfiguration where the stone has to be templated after rough-in but before the final walkthrough. Either way, one point of contact carries the job from first measurement to final polish — no handoff between a countertop crew and a separate bath crew.

How You Source Material

Buy slabs from us. Or bring your own. Either way, we fabricate.

Some showrooms sell off our floor — quartz and natural stone slabs, ready to select and cut. Others already have material sourced or selected with a client and just need a fabricator who can template, cut, and install to spec. We work both ways, on the same timeline, at the same standard.

Slabs From Our Floor

Select from in-stock quartz, granite, marble, and quartzite slabs on our floor — set up a walk-through appointment and hand-pick the exact slab or bookmatched pair before we cut, or send us a photo of what your client already likes and we'll pull comparable lots. High-yield slab nesting keeps your material cost down without changing the layout you sold your client, and because the slab never leaves our building between selection and fabrication, there's no separate delivery step to schedule or track.

Bring Your Own Material

Already sourced a slab through your own supplier, or ordered material a client picked out at a different showroom? Drop it at our dock or have your supplier deliver direct, and we'll template, cut, edge, and install it exactly as if it came off our own floor — no requirement to buy through us and no markup for fabricating material we didn't sell. We'll do a quick intake inspection for cracks, fissures, or resin issues before we cut, and flag anything that could affect the finished piece while there's still time to swap slabs.

Common Questions

What K&B remodelers & showrooms ask us.

What's a typical turnaround for a kitchen job?

It depends on scope and whether we're templating before or after cabinet install, but a standard kitchen — countertops, sink cutout, and backsplash returns — moves through template, fabrication, and install faster than a job that also includes a full bath package or a bookmatched feature wall. We'll give you a real date at template, once we know the exact layout and material.

How does seam placement and layout approval work?

We lay out every job digitally before a single cut is made, showing seam locations, veining direction, and any bookmatch pairing against your actual cabinet dimensions. Nothing goes to the saw until your shop or your client has signed off on that layout — if a seam needs to move to avoid running through a vein or a sink cutout, that's the point in the process to catch it, not after installation.

Can we choose from in-stock material, or does everything have to be special-ordered?

Our floor carries in-stock quartz, granite, marble, and quartzite in the categories most kitchen and bath jobs actually use, so a standard job can usually be selected without waiting on a special order. If your client wants something outside what's currently on the floor, we can source it — just build the extra lead time into your schedule.

Do you install, or is this fabrication-only?

Both. Some showrooms use their own install crews and just need fabrication — we'll cut, edge, and crate for your team to set. Others want us to carry the job through install. Either way, we template to the same tolerance and hand off a finished piece that's ready to set the day it arrives.

What's covered under warranty?

Fabrication and installation workmanship is warrantied against defects in the cut, edge work, and seam integrity we perform. Material characteristics inherent to natural stone — fissures, mineral variation, veining shifts — are disclosed at slab selection rather than treated as a fabrication issue, so your client knows what to expect from the specific slab before it's cut, not after it's installed.

Do you work directly with our client, or only through our showroom?

That's your call. Some showrooms want us to stay entirely behind the scenes; others prefer we join a template appointment or a slab selection walk-through directly with the client, especially on bookmatched or higher-value work. We follow whichever way your shop runs the relationship.
